Why underground containers?
Underground waste management systems have been implemented in Europe for some years now and their application is continuously spreading around the world, as they are the most sanitary method of waste disposal.
The underground container system facilitates storage of up to four times the volume of conventional containers. This significantly improves communal infrastructure, streamlines waste management, and positively impacts the image of the vicinity it is installed in.
Thanks to the design and installation method, the underground containers occupy much less overground space compared to their conventional counterparts. They are emptied only once a day, primarily at night - interfering with as less traffic as possible.
One of the advantages of underground containers is that all of the waste has limited access, preventing dispersion and inadequate waste management - wind, animals and unauthorized waste collectors can’t get to it. Urban zones become tidier, cleaner, and there are no unpleasant odors.
Underground containers contribute to the better appearance of the town, since they are situated under the ground, while the visible parts are more attractive than the existing above ground solutions.
